In 1997

a substation was built on Chesnee Rd to help serve the southeastern area of our district.

in 2006

Green Creek Fire Department started providing Medical First Responder services to the community.

In 2008

Green Creek Fire Department also added a BLS or Basic Life Support ambulance to our fleet to better serve our citizens.

In 2015

we became Green Creek Fire Rescue.  We are progressing with the needs of a growing community to also provide more services related to rescue.

We currently have an ISO rating 6/9E.  Property owners within 5 road miles of either station are within the protection class of ISO 6.
